Tell the snow to go away already! Man, can't the snow read a calendar?!?

I agree with what dru said.

That does not look very springy!!

Jen said...

Dru and NYC - no, it's not. SIGH. And we're supposed to get anywhere between 4 and 12 inches overnight.

And April, I think it can't. It's very frustrating.

One of our local DJs said she was going to have a "throwdown with Mother Nature" lol.

looks like the Ardennes in Belgium. Snow is also their Spring welcome gift.

I only saw melting snow so far...so I actually hope for a white Easter. just for once, why not. If it doesn't last long.

Marianne Arkins said...

Dear heavens... please, please, please tell me that's not coming my way.

I'm so sorry.

Ugh.

Happy "spring".

Jen said...

Well, Goofball, you can have it! ;-)

Marianne, you'll be happy to know it's not for a change. It's supposed to peter out before getting much farther East.

Same story here. Unfortunately. Just goes with everything else going on this week...

Oh yeah, I feel your pain. I remember one year in Boston we had an early spring until April 1st. April Fools! Here, have a 5 foot drift.

Jen said...

Oh, Anno, I wish I could send you on a nice, Mediterranean vacation.

Yes, CG, we've had times like that. I remember the year I moved to MI, I had been living in TN just before and everything was beautiful and springlike, and I took the Greyhound up on Mar. 28th and we arrived in a blizzard. And hey, today is only Mar. 21st! ;-)

Momisodes said...

Good grief! Will this winter ever end? We're having a touch of that too with 40 mph winds :(
Hope some Spring-like weather will show up soon!

You can say the same for Chicago.

We've got the same problem here - except we still had more snow left. (About three feet still) - then suddenly snow and there's 4 feet.

Doesn't nature know I want to go on Vacation on monday?

Crazy, it's supposed to be spring!

Oh, dear snow, you're supposed to be gone already! :D

janey jay said...

Oh man. That's crazy.

Says the girl from Florida... y'all are more than welcome to come for a visit. Let's just say the weather here = markedly different right now.

Jen said...

Sandy, I heard about your winds from my mom in NYC - I guess they're having the same.

Sorry to hear that, Coco!

Oh, Ella, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope the roads are nice and clear for you on Monday!

Jen said...

Yes, KarenMeg, emphasis on the word supposed

Boy, Ben, me, TOO! And I'm really not a summer person - I prefer Spring and Fall, but right now - warmth. Please.

Mariposa, yup... and this is why I said I needed that vacation when I saw your Music Monday video with everyone so happy on beaches! ;-)

Jen said...

Citizen Jane - Ya mean it?? Packing my bags right now! ;-)

Nature is a cruel trickster. We've been having record high temperatures here in Belgium since the beginning of February, now come the end of March it's dropped 10 degrees and started hailing every other day.

Meh!

Jen said...

Well, Lilac, maybe you'll find some beautiful weather in Pittsburgh next week!

I'm officially jealous. We never get snow where I live. If we do it's gone by afternoon or sooner.

Same story in Minnesota.

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I am so ready for spring-this time of year any bad weather is always hard to deal with-stay warm!

Anonymous said...

Um... considering you saw a pic of my son in shorts taken yesterday, I'm just going to wave hi and move on before you throw a mixing bowl at me or something...

Jen said...

Jenny - I like snow. I really do. I just want spring to get here!

Greg - so I've heard. Hope it clears up SOON.

Thanks, Rebecca, and I so plan on embracing warmer weather as soon as it gets here!

No, Jim, it would a snow shovel ;-) And the pics of Fury were adorable!

Shan said...

Oh yuck. Think I caught wind that we're in for more snow too. I am so over this winter.

Carol said...

WOW! In Seattle we spent the day planting spring flowers!

Jen said...

Oh, Shan, I hope your weather reports were wrong!

Carol, thanks for sharing ;-P. Actually, though, for those of you in Seattle - enjoy your sunny days!

Thanks, Wendy! I wish we were in warm, sunny Malta!

Oooohhhh how beautiful! You are so lucky to have that view from your house♥ Please show us more in spring :D

Grimm said...

Good to see it ain't just us Ohioans that get the snow dumped on us this year.

Good grief that looks ugly.

Jen said...

Thanks, Nuria - I'll definitely post more. ;-)

Grimm, yes, and I was totally feeling your pain in your posts about shoveling!
