You said it Jen! We are getting ready to go out to run some errands, but I just started a new book this morning and I am having a hard time tearing myself away!
Jenn - I'm reading the MOST fun book right now - it's called Hide Your Eyes by Alison Gaylin, who's another of the First Offenders bloggers, along with Karen Olson. It's a mystery about a preschool teacher/box office agent in NYC and it's just wonderful.
SMID - I guess I just answered that with Jenn! And yes, kids just don't understand our reading needs, do they? The little buggers! ;-)
Happy SS to you, Yummy! What are you reading these days?
Anno - I guess I left that info that I was going to send you, up by my response to Jenn...
Grimm - how was it? I'm really dying to see the film. I'm a classics fan, and I've heard from friends that it should be a "must read" for me.
Jenn - I have others to read, too, but this one is CALLING me. Since I have a friend dropping by shortly and 10 teens coming for the next six hours, my reading may have to be postponed til tomorrow.

eek.
Me too! Me TOOOOOOOO!!!
Could you talk to my kids about this? All I want to do is read Goodwin's Team of Rivals about Lincoln's cabinet.
What are you wanting to read?
I totally agree. Happy SS!
Sounds right to me, too!
Just finished the book "No Country For Old Men" during daily visits to the bathroom.
About the only time I have for actual reading.

Thanks, all, for stopping by!
hey I might just do so, if I stay awake.
Good luck with that, Goofball! ;-)
I'm with you-but its a toss up between reading and sleeping...and since I can't do both I'm gonna pick sleep now :)
yep. now if I could just decide which of the 5 books I started needs reading first!
Sassy, sometimes we all need our beauty rest!

Oh yes, me too. Especially on this rainy Saturday we're having here :) Hope you're weekend is drier!
Actually, Sandy, we've had relatively gorgeous weather for Michigan - sunny and in the 30s. I was just out playing! Reading will be tomorrow, I think.
rather than...?
Oh... doing all the errands, paper correcting and cleaning I did today, CG. ;-) Tomorrow I do some serious reading, though!
You said it!
Hope you still managed to squeeze some time in for reading this weekend!
I'm getting in some reading today, Betsy - thanks!
Yes, Leslie, I should probably have a bumper sticker made, lol.
Reading in the bathtub is one of my favorite things to do - at least once a week, I manage!
April, every time I try that, I end up getting my book wet. I think I'm a clutz at heart.
I have running around all over the place. This house thing (home loan) is proving to be very stressing :) And as you said, I'd rather be reading :)
Have a lovely week!
Oh, Wendy, I hope it gets easier soon!
The book is written in a little different style - took a little bit to get adjusted to it.
After that it was a great read.
Thanks for the review, Grimm. It's definitely going on my list!
