OH! So absolutely true!
looks like we had a similar thought in mind
FC, I think most women may think this, lol. I'm worried about getting angry guys on the site today...
I haven't been to your site yet, Goofball - I guess I'll head there now.
Totally agree. I have taken to throwing in statements like "my hair's on fire" when I sense I'm not being listened to. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Men.
Ooo... I like that tactic - I'll have to try it!
oh yeah, the chief source of argument between myself and CableDad. lol
CG, I think that's true of many families...
LOL - yep, one of the things I miss least about living with a man!
I know what you mean... thank God for my girlfriends!
Gotta say, though, my husband's "fix-it" impulse comes in handy sometimes...
Oh my god that is so true... even when you think they are listening... they aren't!!!
April, yes, I can imagine that!
Anno, well, the fix it thing can be okay sometimes - it's more when I say something and he has the expression of all those high school students in the econ class in Ferris Beuller's Day Off.
Kate, yeah, there seems to be a lot of agreement today, lol.
what? did you say something?
;)
My husband would tell you that I'm the one that doesn't listen. But he always wants to talk when I'm blogging!
oy. no kidding.
Right, Jim, right... ;-)
Well, Leslie, that's the flip side of it. I mean, where do they get off expecting US to listen? Hmmmm? ;-)
LOL, Maypole, I seem to have struck a nerve with this post!
I think I have to repeat something at least three times before my husband gets it. I think he hears it but his listening comprehension skills are in the toilet sometimes!
Buzzeedad's comment is HILARITY! Love it.
I hear you, Jen. I hear you.
Nice combination of the two themes - and so true!
Hahaha, so true! Happy weekend Jen!
