Anno and Flower Child, well, if you want to see how I really feel on this, lol, just scroll up. I'm on a tear this morning.

And Flower Child - yes... and no. I think the proportional factor really fit a different nation and make-up than our current situation. What I really think is that the system needs to be completely overhauled. We've been resting on our lazy-butt laurels for too long.

and here we thought that was just the impression we got from watching it north of the border ...

You know, I was just now having a conversation with Emma about the whole process of the elections. Of course, we were just covering the basics of the structure. I didn't even dare touch on the bits that are WRONG with it. Not yet.

Yes, give her a year or two, right JIH? Sadly, C's already aware of it from hearing me and D rant and also through his own exposure to the media, etc.

Yes, Mariposa, I've gathered that from some of your recent posts. And I know from other bloggers that politics in Belgium, Italy and Malta are also a mess. And then through the news, we certainly know of other places that are a mess. The thing is, we're squandering both our human and natural resources, and we need to learn to start working together. In every way.

sigh...politics...

in Belgium it's not the political system that is a mess. It's the stubborn radical politicians that currently make it a mess over here. ... by thursday Yves Leterme should have an agreement on his new government. it's been a struggle so far. Wait and see....
