I'll be off to the Stratford Festival and just playing, while my German daughter visits over the next few days.
We'll be seeing two of my all-time favorite plays: Cyrano de Bergerac and The Importance of Being Earnest.
I'll be back next week with play reviews, What's Cooking Wednesday and a Local Love Friday edition.
Ciao and have a lovely week!

Bon voyage! Hope you have a wonderful trip!
trying not to turn green with envy...
I love the Importance of Being Earnest - enjoy!
Have a great time. See you next week.
Oh Cyrano! Loved that one!
Have a safe and enjoyable trip! Both of these plays sound good.
Have a great time! :)
Have fun!
Have a wonderful time Jen. I remember visiting the Stratford Festival many times starting when we were in elementary school, but also as a adult as well. Stratford is a pretty town as well.
have a great time!
Hi Jen...have fun!
I'm joining What's Cooking Wednesday for the first time and hope I did not screw it up...LOL

Thanks so much for the well wishes, everyone! It was wonderful, and I'll be posting about it tomorrow or Saturday.
The performances were incredible.
Enjoy! You've just reminded me to add to my never ending list of books I want to read "The importance of being earnest" :)
Have a great time!
Hi! Just found your blog through Lola's.
I hope you have a wonderful time! I envy you and look forward to reading about your trip when you return.
Best wishes from Wisconsin,
Angela
What fun! I'm also very fond of the Shaw Festival out in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
La Delirante, even better see the DVD with Colin Firth and Reese Witherspoon - plays should be seen, rather than read. The play is a good read, too, but better view!
Alex - I did! I'll be writing about it today.
Angela - thanks so much for stopping by. I will come visit you, as well!
Kitchen Chick - the Shaw festival is wonderful, too. I hope once we're "empty nesting" we can manage to make more forays over the border.
Sounds like a lovely road trip with great entertainment. I wish we could find the time to do these things.
oooh a festival and your German daughter with you....life can be good :).
