Okay, so some of you found Soko a little, um, dark.
Truly, she didn't mean any of it. I swear.
But there is nothing dark about this one.
I just need some silliness this week. This has been my other ear worm.
Thanks to Mae for finally showing me the error of my ways in terms of youtube.

My 5 year old requests this song (on the CD) whenever we are in the car. Unfortunately, it's about the only song on the CD that is 5-year old appropriate (way too many questions about "Business Time"...) so I have to listen to the rest of the songs when I am without critter companionship. But whenever I'm in a bad mood, Foux de Fa Fa can pull me out of it!
this is a classic. It reminds me of high school French. ha!
Kate, I can just see that. Having a 15.5-year-old, we can play just about anything these days (although "Business Time" makes him verrrry uncomfortable, although the line about recycling cracks him up). That's what "skip" is for. ;-)
NYC - you introduced me to Flight when you posted Business Time eons ago. And absolutely on the high school French - I think they must have gotten many of those phrases out of a high school textbook. "Ou est la piscine?" is a classic!
I tried to watch the one yesterday but it distracted my teen from writing his essay. I'll show him this one today as he is taking (and failing) French. I do love these guys. We don't have cable now and I miss them.
Hey Meg - a lot of the episodes can be dl'd I believe. They are way too funny. And almost anyone with any knowledge of French can pick up the phrases, so it's a good one. ;-)
Well you know I love this!! Calle, Vickan and I watched this like 100 times one evening. It's just hilarious, especially the facial expressions!!
Serge Gainsbourough meets French 101. Funny!
Jen, I needed that bit of silly today. Merci beaucoup.
Mikaela, I can see you all doing that!
Glamah, too true!
Sarabeth, glad to oblige. ;-)
I love the Flight of the Conchords. Discovered them on HBO last year and can't get enough of them!
They always give me a smile, Karen.
Ha! Tres bien! Also, I'm glad they let you post words and video this time :D
Thanks, I so needed the giggle this morning!
(And I hope that someday my french will be as good as theirs is! ;-) )
Ha, ha! I'm glad I played the video. It made me smile...today is grey, rainny, wet and cold... and it feels like doing nothing.
I would really like to send this to my high school French teacher. This is hilarious. I need a cd of theirs!
This is probably actually a hit song in France right now.
